Bordeaux's Pomerol has never implemented a classification system, but the Petrus winery in the region is definitely the king of wine known to the world, and its brewing process is even more unique. First of all, all new oak barrels are used. During the one to two years of aging, the barrels are changed every three months to allow the wine to fully absorb the aroma of different oaks. This cost-effective approach is still unmatched today. This 1983 Petrus gives a rich taste experience, with a smooth taste and luxurious textures of soft fruits, blackberries and chocolate. The overall concentration is high, and it is a red wine with a high degree of completion in the bottle.
